Islamabad: Only 21% of the Pakistanis said that they mhave a recreational park near their house, where as the majority (79%) claimed to have no such facility, revealed the findings of a survey conducted by Gilani Research Foundation, which carried out by Gallup Pakistan.

Amongst those who do have a park near their residence, majority (42%) claimed to be regular visitors.
   
A nationally representative sample of men and women from all areas of Pakistan were asked 'Do you have any recreational park near your house? The results show that 21% of the respondents said yes, where as the majority (79%) claimed to have no such facility.
      
A significantly higher percentage of urbanites (42%) as compared to their counter parts in rural areas (10%) said they have a park near
their house.
