Terrorist attacks conspiracy to destabilize country: PPP
LAHORE, Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab's secretary finance Aurangzeb Burki, Federal Council member Abdul Qadir Shaheen, Matloob Warriach and Peoples Labor Bureau Punjab's secretary information Muhammad Salim Mughal, severely resenting the terrorist attacks at Kohat and in Lahore at Bedian Eliot Training Center, Munanwan Training Center and FIA building, have termed it a heinous conspiracy against the democracy and solidarity of the country.
They said the terrorists with such cowardly incidents could not humiliate the nation, while the government, Pal-Army and the people jointly would weed out terrorism. In a statement here Thursday they said the country's defense was in iron hands and the government would not compromise on country's solidarity and independence. They said the government was determined to eradicate the menace of terror forever from the country and such incidents could not intimidate it, as entire nation was favoring the government in this regard. They said under the circumstances all the democratic forces should extend helping hands to the government for bringing the country out of debacles, besides putting it on the track of progress, prosperity and making it a heaven of peace and tranquility. PPP leaders paid rich tributes to security personnel martyred in the terrorist attacks and said that they offering sacrifices saved three places from major disaster. They prayed to Allah Almighty to give eternal peace to departed souls and courage and solace to members of bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
