Singer Ricky Martin, who announced last year that he is gay, wants a daughter this year.
The 40-year-old became the father of twin boys Matteo and Valentino through a surrogate mother in August 2008 and now he’s keen to have a daughter.
“I think that I’ll do it later on this year, so that (the kids) are not too far apart in ages. (I’d like) a little girl,” contactmusic.com quoted Martin as saying.
Also, he admits he has put plans to wed his partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella on hold, adding, “We are not talking about it, we’re not thinking about it.”
